Bonnie Gibson
Bonnie is an accomplished artist in many forms of 3 dimensional arts. Completely self taught, she has gained recognition and awards for her work in gourds. "I discovered gourds quite by accident a few years ago, and immediately fell in love with them! Working with gourds allows me to utilize the technical skills that I've developed over the years working with other media. I have lived in Arizona almost 30 years, so interpreting some of the native cultures and Southwestern designs is a favorite subject of mine."

Bonnie utilizes many tools and techniques, including carving, pyrography, painting, and inlays of stone in her striking designs. Carved sand ripples and basketry effects have become her signature patterns.
